Referrals

You can self-refer for a private orthoapedic consultation by booking an appointment directly with us, or some patients are referred to us by their GP or another specialist. If you’re using private health insurance, your provider may ask for a referral before approving treatment, so please check with them in advance.

Treatment

To be accepted for treatment at The Woodlands Suite you must see a Consultant Surgeon who operates at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.

Your surgeon will let us know that you have chosen to have your procedure with us and will make the necessary arrangements with our administration team. They will contact you to confirm your details, date of surgery, the way you are funding your procedure, and a date for your pre-operative assessment.
