Dr Egidio Joseph da Silva is a Consultant Anaesthetics and Peri-operative Care specialising in orthopaedic and spinal surgery, including complex and high-risk cases. His practice focuses on advanced risk assessment, frailty-informed optimisation, and the delivery of safe, precise anaesthesia. Working closely with surgical teams, he ensures patients are optimally prepared for surgery and supported through a smooth recovery. He is actively involved in national work with the British Society of Anaesthetists and contributes to advancing peri-operative care through education, guideline development, and clinical leadership.
