Room and facilities

All eight of our private rooms are furnished to ensure your privacy and comfort. They include en-suite facilities with walk in showers to facilitate bathing for patients whose condition makes it difficult for them to use a bath; this is particularly useful for patients in wheelchairs. Variable bed heights help to support with getting into and out of bed.

Free Wi-fi is available for the duration of your stay. Your room will have a digital television and radio that can be operated by the separate remote-control unit, or manually on the set itself. The televisions offer Freeview channels. You will also receive a complimentary newspaper each day.

A telephone is provided in your room so that you can keep in touch with family and friends (there may be a charge for calls). You are also welcome to use your mobile phone.

As a private patient, you will be allocated free on-site parking for the duration of your stay.

A mobile shop visits daily offering a choice of magazines, newspapers and snacks.

We follow Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (ROH) visiting times. Please refer to the ROH website for current visiting hours.
