Room and facilities

We aim to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible so that you can focus on your recovery.

The room

All seven of our private rooms are furnished to ensure your privacy and comfort. They include en-suite facilities with walk in showers to facilitate bathing for patients whose condition makes it difficult for them to use a bath; this is particularly useful for patients in wheelchairs. Variable bed heights help to support with getting into and out of bed.

Internet access, telephone and entertainment

Free Wi-fi is available for the duration of your stay. Your room will have a digital television and radio that can be operated by the separate remote-control unit, or manually on the set itself. The televisions offer Freeview channels. You will also receive a complimentary newspaper each day.

Telephone

A telephone is provided in your room so that you can keep in touch with family and friends (there may be a charge for calls). You are also welcome to use your mobile phone.

Convenience

A parking pass to allow free parking is allocated to you on admission.

A mobile shop visits daily offering a choice of magazines, newspapers and snacks.

We are currently following Royal Orthopaedic Hospital visiting times. Please refer to the Trust website for our visiting times.

Food

All of the food we serve is cooked fresh on a daily basis by our own onsite catering team. You can download a copy of the Woodlands Suite menu. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know. You can download a copy of the Woodlands Suite menu here.
